Auto Sallon Hysi - Korean Car Imports

The Challenge

Auto Sallon Hysi imports premium Korean and European cars into Kosovo, but their stock lived on social media and spreadsheets. Buyers had no way to browse the real inventory, filter by what they could afford, or understand the import process before walking in.

They needed a fast, trustworthy storefront that could show live inventory, answer buyer questions instantly, and rank for the specific searches Kosovars actually make - by make, body type, and budget in euros.

Our Approach

We built a full-stack dealership platform on Astro and Cloudflare’s edge, pairing a polished public catalog with an AI assistant and a self-serve admin CRM so the team can manage stock without touching code.

Key Focus Areas

1. AI Search Assistant - “Hysi”, a built-in chat island that lets buyers describe what they want in plain Albanian and get matched to real cars in stock
2. Live Inventory - Server-rendered listing and detail pages backed by a Cloudflare D1 database, with images served from R2
3. Admin CRM - A protected dashboard to add, import, and edit cars, manage featured stock, and keep the catalog current
4. Local SEO - Albanian landing pages targeting how people search: by make and under a price ceiling (for example “cars under 10,000 euro”)

Technical Implementation

• Framework: Astro 6 in full SSR mode with React 19 islands for interactive pieces
• Hosting: Deployed as a single Cloudflare Worker - global edge, sub-second responses
• Data: Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) for inventory, R2 for car images, KV for sessions
• AI: A chat assistant that turns natural-language requests into inventory matches
• Imports: Tooling to pull listings from Korean marketplaces and decode vehicle details (VIN) for accurate specs
• i18n: Albanian-first with full English, plus structured data and a sitemap for search

Results

The new platform moved Auto Sallon Hysi from scattered social posts to a real online dealership:
